Couple of shows coming up…

I am going to be playing a couple of cool shows in March. First up is a weekend at one of my favourite venues, the Yardbird Suite in Edmonton. This show features quite a lineup, put together by Rémi Bolduc. Besides Rémi and myself, Kirk MacDonald, Kelly Jefferson and PJ Perry will all be on board. Dave Laing and Fraser Hollins are keeping us in line, or trying. Here is a video from a show we did in Montreal a few years back. The Yardbird dates...

Toronto visit…

I’ve been back on the west coast, finishing up my law degree at UVIC. Nice to be back home, and the school is great. I am making a trip to Toronto next weekend (Feb 11/12) for a couple of things. First off, I am speaking at the Toronto PAMA conference, on the topic of “Fake It Until You Can’t Make It”. You can check out the details here. That’s on the afternoon of the 11th. Then on the evening of the 12th I will be...

Summer in the city…

Toronto is a pretty great place to be – occasional heatwave notwithstanding – in the summer. All kinds of festivals, food, music…right now there is a Portuguese parade happening just outside my window. Luminato coming up, TD Downtown Jazz around the corner. Impossible to keep track of everything really. Not that I have a lot of spare time. Working full-time, playing lots of shows (see the Calendar page for details), and trying...

Between now and the end of the month I have four shows, one in Montreal, two in Toronto, and one in Hamilton. The Montreal show is first, April 19 at Résonance. Then on Thursday April 21 I will be playing in Hamilton with Don Thompson, Terry Clarke, and Jim Vivian. Saturday April 23 Don, Terry and I, along with...
